[仿真]A Study of Effective Permittivity for Thermotropic Liquid Crystals in 7.8 - 12.4 GHz Frequency Range

Abstract - A liquid crystal study was performed, in order to _~PO  
determine the relative effective electric permittivity, using a p[u4,  
microwave simulation method Three thermotropic types of C+`xx('N9  
liquid crystals: nematic, smectic and chotesteric were considered .

and their structures were simulated with the help of a NP "ylMr7P  
microwave simulation program: High Frequency Structure 9-b 8`|s  
Simulator (HFSS - Ansoft Technologies). An analysis method L4~ W/6A  
based on physical considerations for the caiculation of the Im6U_JsNZh  
effective permittivity of the considered structures was used for @2u#93Y  
the frequency range 7.8 - 12.4 GHz, where the precision of the C]/&vh7ta  
method is the best, The results were commented from the point t{~
