[仿真]Simulation of Passive Microwave Penetration Features in Dry Medium

Abstract-The simulation of passive microwave penetration &N\4/'wV  
features in dry medium is very important to estimate the dry i[rXs/]  
medium thickness, especially to retrieve the lunar regolith Lk:Sju  
thickness, which is one of the Chinese lunar exploration missions. #Oq~ZV|<l  
Based on layered dry medium model and radiative transfer ,<,#zG[.  
equation, the microwave penetration features in dry medium are vu=`s|R  
studied in the paper. The results show that the microwave can iqTGh*k  
penetrate bigger depth in low frequencies than that in high X2S:"0?7  
frequencies. There exists a maximum penetration thickness thmax(f) 3{R7y  
to every frequency, and thmax(f) declines sharply with the :+$/B N:iO  
increasing of frequency. The brightness temperature increases >gGdzL  
monotonically with the dry medium thickness if the thickness is #F25,:hY  
smaller than thmax(f). The dielectric constants of the dry medium m8C scCZ}  
play an important role in evaluating the microwave penetration GK
8x<Aq%z  
features. According to the results, a look-up table between dry -A)XYz  
medium thickness and brightness temperature is generated, which +-OnO7f  
provides a new and efficient way to extract the thickness of dry dd
