Power Frequency Magnetic Field (Option)

Power Frequency Magnetic Field, or POWERM testing, involves simulating the magnetic fields associated with current flowing in mains cables, as specified in the IEC 1000-4-8 standard. Such magnetic fields may influence the operation of equipment subjected to such fields. The BEST emc instrument generates this test by passing a current through the Induction Coil, causing a magnetic field proportional to the current amplitude and frequency, to occur within the coil perimeter.
