Abstract: A technique for the analysis of electromagnetically 1"zDin!A  
coupled multilayer stacked patch @e(o129  
antennas fed by coaxial probes is presented. It is h`KFL/fT  
based on the electric field integral equation and hn5h\M?  
exploits the Galerkin procedure in the spectral X 0WJBEE  
domain for the solution of the equation. The technique ;&<{ey  
is used to investigate the characteristics of a (D#B_`;-  
two-layer stacked rectangular patch antenna. The PDJr<E?  
effects of substrate material, patch size, patch displacement B~]k#Ot)  
and radome on the input impedance or <sWprR  
on radiation patterns are presented. The results 4 !i

shed light on the direction of changes in the O@u?h9?cf>  
antenna’s characteristics with the above mentioned !\zWF
