[天线]Theory and experiment of circularly polarized dielectric resonator antenna with a parasitic patch

[ Abstract—The use of a single parasitic patch for circular /!;oO_U:#  
polarization (CP) excitation of the dielectric resonator antenna bh|M]*Pq  
(DRA) is investigated. For demonstration, the technique is applied c7Sa|9*dR  
to the conformal-strip fed hemispherical DRA, excited at the >(mp$#+w  
fundamental TE111 mode. Using the Green’s function approach, Hs/ aU_  
the integral equations for the conformal-strip and parasitic-patch A^:[+PJHN  
currents are formulated by matching the appropriate boundary L;zwqdI  
conditions. The equations are then solved using the method of S9R(;  
moments (MoM). In using the MoM, both the rigorous and 2^w3xL"   
simplified current expansions are used for the parasitic patch, vdw5T&Q{{C  
and their results are compared with each other. In each case, the  H"czF  
impedance integrals are evaluated by virtue of newly obtained I Y%M5
(&Q  
recurrence formulas and direct analytical integration. Hence, the lxb+
0fiN  
results can be calculated very efficiently without the need for any RUqN,C,m5I  
numerical integration, which greatly facilitates the numerical 's>  
implementation. The input impedance, axial ratio, and radiation i^Vb42%y  
patterns of the CP DRA are calculated, and the results are in good 7S$Am84%
