printed dipole antenna are presented for wireless communication cLLbZ=`  
applications. Two orthogonal printed dipole antennas and each "vOwd.(?N  
with a microstrip via-hole balun feeding structure are combined c-(UhN3WG  
and fabricated on an FR-4 printed-circuit-board substrate. A Dy:|g1>  
p-i-n-diode circuit is used to switch and select the desired antenna z*a:L}$  
polarization. In the antenna design simulation, a full-wave _no*k?o*  
method of a three-dimensional finite-difference time-domain d>mo~  
(FDTD) method is employed to analyze the entire structure 0@%v1Oja  
of the printed antenna including the lumped elements of the [D\k^h  
polarization-selected p-i-n diode switching circuit. The Berenger AJF#Aw `o
