[其它]CST工作站配置求助

要买一个工作站，主要来跑CST，3万左右，请各位给点建议，目前的机器受不了了， .. SM0~fAtE

EM simulations can be classified as high performance computing tasks. Therefore, the CPU, RAM, and graphic performance of workstations used for CST applications should meet high requirements. Likewise, a sufficient power supply and heat flow have to be ensured for the workstation. We strongly recommend that the chosen hardware meets the following requirements. For a workstation without special acceleration features (i.e., GPU Computing or MPI Computing) we recommend: V

■The latest Intel Xeon processor (currently the Intel Xeon processors of the 5600 series, codename “Westmere”) K Pt5=a

3万能买不错的工作站啦，其实对CST，就是内存越大越好（带宽也是越大越好～），CPU越快越好（不是越多越好哦～）。

4000多万的网格，16G内存，i7处理器，能够计算出来么？

您可以参考一下资料库里的一个White paper，里面有网格与内存的简单对应关系，4000万网格（六面体）加上一些必要的场监视器一般也就是5-6G内存应该足够。 o;[bJ Z\^x

处理器的话，就是越多越好，越快越好，其个数和速度只影响运算速度和效率。而内存大小的影响，是算、还是不能算的问题。 T!Sj<,r+j

不过其实随着对工作站构架的逐渐了解，我发现上面的只是大原则，具体的里面的数据流啊，线程啊什么的，要达到最佳配置，还需要更专业的知识。。。
