Abstract—This paper presents a frequency-tunable high-power lj1wTiaI(  
mesoband microwave radiator that uses a switched quarter- Q.Kr;64G  
wavelength oscillator and a patch antenna. The oscillator is 3ppY@_1  
charged and then switched by an annular electrode between the in- | ZI~#V  
ner and outer conductors. The length of the oscillator is adjustable k_=~ObA$g  
by moving the electrode in order to generate different frequency E!4Qc+.   
resonances. A coupler with a quasi-constant coupling coefficient ;5P>R[p  
was employed to output a high-power mesoband microwave. A &!3=eVg  
novel high-power wideband patch antenna with a bandwidth @lau?@$ja  
of 64% and a maximum gain of 8.1 dB was used to radiate ;NrkX?Y
