Abstract—This paper presents a frequency-tunable high-power \5v=pDd4g  
mesoband microwave radiator that uses a switched quarter- *U5>j#,  
wavelength oscillator and a patch antenna. The oscillator is G> 5=`  
charged and then switched by an annular electrode between the in- (h8hg+l o  
ner and outer conductors. The length of the oscillator is adjustable 8EVF<@{]  
by moving the electrode in order to generate different frequency }(hYG"5  
resonances. A coupler with a quasi-constant coupling coefficient |M0,%~Kt  
was employed to output a high-power mesoband microwave. A .LhbhUEfn  
novel high-power wideband patch antenna with a bandwidth KX=:)%+  
of 64% and a maximum gain of 8.1 dB was used to radiate 9#
.NPfMF  
the generated mesoband microwave. The experimental results of 8P'En+uE1|  
the radiation factor were as high as 182 kV at 333 MHz, and the {{#a%O
