environment onhoard due to the presence of myriad yV_ L/,6}D  
electrical, electronic and electromechanical systems j;0ih_Z@4W  
within a limited amount of space. These systems are F?2FITi_V  
expected to perform to their design potential based on |0w~P s  
which the ship’s roles and missions are decided. However, ?'LM7RE$X6  
mutual electromagnetic interference (EMI) between these

systems degrade equipment performance, sometimes to /,t| !)\]  
such an extent that one or more of these systems are 1}DerX6  
rendered operationally unavailable. Such a reduction in /$*; >4=>f  
reliability and availability of mission-critical systems can Jk~UEqr+  
prove detrimental to the success of a mission. Therefore, g^n;IE$B  
operational availability of the varied systems onboard at lxOqs:b  
optimum performance, will require containmentl control /C7svH
