In recent years there has been significant interest in wideband dualpolarized, ~,1q :Kue  
low-profile antennas. The sinuous antenna developed by DuHamel is #iDFGkK/  
one such antenna [l]. Although antennas utilizing the sinuous geometry are {4q:4i  
commercially available, little information concerning the detailed operation of the =eLb"7C#0  
antenna structure has been published. Recent experimental work has provided JU.%;e7  
information on radiation pattern and impedance characteristics for the sinuous N6 8>`  
spiral antenna [2], but has not provided information about the electric current @O @yJ{(I
