In recent years there has been significant interest in wideband dualpolarized, rx 74v!  
low-profile antennas. The sinuous antenna developed by DuHamel is jDTG15_=  
one such antenna [l]. Although antennas utilizing the sinuous geometry are U<Qi`uoj!  
commercially available, little information concerning the detailed operation of the TQ:5@1aT  
antenna structure has been published. Recent experimental work has provided <DPRQhNW]  
information on radiation pattern and impedance characteristics for the sinuous H&%oHyK  
spiral antenna [2], but has not provided information about the electric current r<Z.J/a  
distribution on the conducting surfaces. Knowledge of this current distribution 54JZOtC3~
